From infinite sweetness to maximum sonic explosion!

The Molinari Quartet presents a concert featuring three works for string quartet by Quebec composers, two of which were written specifically for the quartet.
In his work, Éric Champagne was inspired by his reading of the autobiography Avant la nuit, by the Cuban poet Reinaldo Arenas, a true hymn to life, spirit of revolt, love and freedom. Keiko Devaux, in Dust, develops her interest in the questioning of the memory of sound and the imagination of sound. Using fragments of Beethoven's String Quartet No. 15, she confronts her personal inspiration and the concept of her imagination, which results from her listening. Walter Boudreau’s Le Grand Méridien is inspired by one of the 46 motets of the Spanish composer Tomas Luis de Victoria, using in particular the responsorial "Tradiderunt me in manus impiorum". The composer blends Renaissance writing with his own creative universe to reveal a work rich in color.

An unmissable event with exceptional artists!
