Le Vivier is a major presenter on the cultural scene in Quebec, made up of an association of 57 members and musical organizations. Its mission is to promote the development of new music.
Favouring at all times creation, research and innovation, whether it be works from the local, national or international repertoire, Le Vivier programs each season a selection of shows that testify to the richness and effervescence of our creators.
In addition to its programming, Le Vivier is committed to raising awareness of new music, promoting accessibility to culture and contributing to the advancement of new music practice, particularly among young artists. We are proud to work to promote an entire community, thereby forging an ever-stronger bond with the public.

Making a donation to the Vivier means having an impact on :
- Supporting a community of artists and composers, including those of the next generation;
- Supporting a community of artists and composers, including emerging artists and composers; o Carrying out cultural mediation activities for all audiences, from the very young to the elderly, including the creation of projects in the regions;
- The presentation of youth concerts for school audiences, including pedagogical tools, preparatory workshops and visits to our performance spaces.
All donations make a difference, there are no small donations. We greatly appreciate your involvement and for all donations of $30 or more, a charitable receipt will be sent to you. Le Vivier is registered with Revenue Canada as a charitable organization since 2012.

A major gift in culture is a monetary donation of at least $5,000, made in one or more installments to a charity, cultural organization or museum institution. Why not to the Vivier!
What is the Additional Tax Credit for Major Cultural Gifts?
An individual resident of Quebec can benefit from an additional non-refundable tax credit of 25% if he or she makes a major cultural donation before January 1, 2023. This credit is applicable to a single donation. The maximum donation eligible for the credit is $25,000, so the maximum credit is $6,250. This credit can be carried forward over 4 years and is not transferable to a spouse.
