Concert
Quatuor Bozzini et Satoko Inoue
LeBlanc · Naito · McLachlan · Itoh · Hayes
Past event
This is a special invitation from the famous pianist Satoko Inoue by Quatuor Bozzini.
In the first part, the poetry of spontaneous and dazzling musical ideas reigns, whose succession disrupt perception and narration in Tambours intérieurs (2010) for string quartet by Jimmie LeBlanc.
In the second part, the public plunges into piano music with spoken texts of the Irish-Japanese character Lafcadio Hearn, alias Koizumi Yakumo. The pieces were commissioned by the Japanese collective nothing but music to mark the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Japan and Ireland.
