Graphic scores

In this transdisciplinary show carried by the poetry of Roxane Desjardins, Symon Henry composes six sound paintings for voice, harmonicas, electronics and improvisation ensemble that question our relationship to history and to imminent ecological disasters.

Ensemble SuperMusique (flutes, trumpet, violin, cello, double bass and percussion) and Collectif Ad Lib (solo voices, electronics and harmonica) abandon themselves to Symon Henry’s graphic scores in this show that is both ambitious and fragile, evoking the vertigo provoked by the climate crisis and the idealism that marked what was to become known as the Maple Spring.
