Trained as a classical musician, Corinne René is a percussionist playing with various Québec orchestras, including the Orchestre Métropolitain. She is also a member of the piano and percussion quartet Quatrix.

Corinne works regularly with Toiture, Tuyo, Riikka Kosola and Zoey Sauvage, freely moving between theatre, dance / mouvement and improvised music. Over the years she took part in training courses at the Conservatoire supérieur de musique in Lyon, The Banff Centre for the Arts, the Centre Chorégraphique National in Rillieux-la-Pape (France) and at Hotel Pupik, in Austria.
