This concert is designed for immersive multichannel support, soloists and call choir in an interactive environmental performance with lighting, black lights and scenography.

It is presented as a behavioral and comparative sound study of the functioning of birds in society and the consequences of the dehumanization of man dedicated to his self-destruction, a universal disorder. Through her work, Roxanne Turcotte evokes the decrease in biodiversity from here to Nias Island and bears witness to human incredulity and climate-sceptic governments. The gradual extinction of animal species caused by unlimited industrial power and ideological battles, makes small groups of dissident individuals emerge from the populations in revolt. This is a call for freedom and the safeguarding of our living space.

Through an acoustic-electronic duality, the composer invites us to listen to the rites of nature, at the bend of a forest, where birds hide somewhere to protect themselves and to hear the call to dissidence, facing the cry of distress.
