Le Vivier comes to La Chapelle Scènes contemporaines! And it does so with great fanfare with the Quatuor Bozzini, in a preview of a series of concerts that the ensemble will present at London’s prestigious Wigmore Hall. To the delight of Montreal audiences, Bozzini will be giving not one, but two concerts dedicated to the music of Gerald Barry (Ireland) and of Cassandra Miller, Linda Catlin Smith, and Tanya Tagaq (Canada). An evening highlighting the quartet's scintillating virtuosity.

The renowned Montreal quartet is celebrating its long collaboration with Barry and presenting the Irish composer’s complete string quartets. Quatuor Bozzini: 1998, refers to Barry's reputedly unplayable work, which Bozzini premiered twenty years ago. The three Canadian composers - Miller, Smith, and Tagaq - are long-time collaborators who have contributed to the evolution of the Bozzini Quartet as it has shaped and refined its unique approach to sound and style, supported by music as dynamic as it is profound.
