The Duo, Marie-Hélène Breault Pamela Reimer pays tribute to three founding Canadian composers of the "Événements du neuf": Claude Vivier, John Rea and the recently deceased José Evangelista. With this concert, the performers continue their work of arrangements begun in 2016, focusing on transpositions for flute and piano of works by major Canadian composers. The works on the programme, notably Claude Vivier's Pièce pour flûte et piano and Pianoforte, will allow us to appreciate the creativity, virtuosity and complicity of the performers.
