Alberto Posadas (*1967 in Valladolid) lives in Madrid, where he also studied with Francisco Guerrero. His work is shaped by research into the relationship between music and nature, music and mathematics, as well as a deep, investigative approach to the instruments used. He developed the concept of »generative micro-instrumentation,« where the musical structure of a composition emerges from the microscopic sonic material and the partially newly discovered playing techniques of an instrument.
