Katharina Muschiol studied puppet theater at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Stuttgart, Germany, where she graduated in 2011. During her studies, Katharina participated in numerous internationally acclaimed artistic projects such as "Wölfe," directed by Michael Vogel in 2011, "Woyzec," directed by Yehuda Almagor in 2010, and "Prologue," directed by Michael Krauss in 2010. Her work is currently focused on interdisciplinary collaborations.

Since March 2011, she has been living and working as an independent artist in Leipzig, where she is involved in organizing and programming cultural events, including the KUKS festival, with the association for the promotion of arts and culture E35 e.V. In addition to her involvement in puppet theater productions as an actress and assistant director (Faza REM Phase, directed by Michael Vogel, 2014), Katharina also works in various fields such as animation films, performances (White radiation, directed by Joachim Fleischer; Swith the light on, with the Luxembourg Philharmonic Orchestra), and visual arts (sculpture).

In 2009, Katharina co-founded the company Gruppe K alongside Maik Evers and Stefan Wenzel. The group is currently touring the production "Schaum der Tage," directed by Hendrick Mannes (2016).
