Ensembles Zafraan & Paramirabo

When the ensembles Zafraan and Paramirabo come together, the result exceeds the mere sum of their forces: a temporary collective emerges, developing its own modes of interaction and perception. The two ensembles merge here into a new entity in which space, listening and the relationship between the performers become compositional elements. In Anna Korsun's Spleen (2019), the musicians sit in a circle, back to back, without fixed metric reference points. Communication then rests on attentive listening and instant reaction to the most subtle sonic changes. With Yoav Pasovsky's Urta (2009), the performers form a living network in which impulses circulate and transform. The world premiere of Arshia Samsaminia's work extends this reflection by integrating an electronic dimension. The culmination of the program, Csaba Ajtony's Taajuu (2026), explores movement, transformation and the sharing of the leadership role among the musicians. New configurations form continuously, creating a balance between individual autonomy and collective cohesion.
