Meet four ensembles from Pôle Relève, Le Vivier’s program dedicated to supporting emerging artists. This showcase highlights a wide range of artistic worlds, from chamber music and voice to new technologies and interdisciplinary practices. The artists will present excerpts of their works during a short concert. Presented in collaboration with the Conservatoire de musique de Québec, the event will feature:
Rosane Lajoie A pianist trained at the Conservatoire de musique de Montréal, Rosane Lajoie furthered her studies in accompaniment and contemporary music at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London, where she received several distinctions. Active in recital and ensemble performance, she develops a practice that combines interpretation, pedagogy, and improvisation.
Gabriel Trottier A horn soloist and chamber musician, Gabriel Trottier performs a broad repertoire ranging from early music to contemporary creation. A regular collaborator with ensembles and orchestras in Quebec and internationally, his practice focuses on creation, research, and interdisciplinary projects.
Treffpunkt is a saxophone quartet bringing together Antonin Bourgault, Edmond Forest, Guy Lavoie, and Thomas Gauthier-Lang. Born from a desire for encounter and exploration, the ensemble is dedicated to the performance and creation of new repertoires, integrating original composition and new technologies.
Duo Pulsar brings together two instruments rarely in the spotlight: clarinet and percussion, performed by Gwénaëlle Ratouit and Béatrice Roy. Guided by boundless curiosity, the artists explore the timbral and rhythmic contrasts between their instruments while seeking to unite them within a shared musical language.
