Rosane Lajoie - Voix croisées

This work by Rosane Lajoie explores the intimate art of the art song through the creation of two cycles for voice and piano. Set to French texts, composers Louis-Michel Tougas and Olivier St-Pierre sign two works carried by soprano Brittany Rae and pianist Rosane Lajoie. Conceived in close collaboration between composers and performers, the concert aims to be a meeting point between the tradition of the art song and new music, in an uncompromising aesthetic approach.

Project supported through the Pôle Relève — a program for the dissemination and circulation of emerging contemporary music artists and their works, supported by the CALQ.
