"Trigger Warning!" is the debut concert of Tonitruances, a new ensemble specializing in music theatre. Made up of some of the fiercest performers of Montreal's emerging music scene, Tonitruances will present four works, including a new creation, on the theme of the "trigger." The pieces address issues that particularly affect marginalized people, using triggering as a means of organization: events set off chain reactions, suggesting alternative forms of power, work overload, gender performativity and discursive violence.

Gabo is an artist working in the fields of contemporary music and live arts. Having studied theatre, dance and music, their professional experience has led them to take part in numerous stage productions, both self-produced and within creative collectives, as well as in several solo and collective performance art works.

Project supported through the Pôle Relève — a program for the dissemination and circulation of emerging contemporary music artists and their works, supported by the CALQ.
