Thibaut Quinchon is an artist who is particularly interested in the concept of sound ecology. His practice revolves around the recording of acoustic landscapes, simultaneously reflecting on their historical, social, and environmental values. With a focus on local development, he primarily explores the Quebec territory, aiming to highlight and promote its sonic biodiversity. On these themes, he has created the series of works titled "Dissociation," through which he has received, among other recognitions, two nominations at the international sound creation competition Phonurgia Nova in 2019 and 2020.
