Pierre Jodlowski, born on 9 March 1971 in Toulouse, France, is a French composer of mixed music. He works in particular on intermediality, computer programming, staging, image and interactivity.
Pierre Jodlowski is developing his work in France and abroad in the field of contemporary music. His music, which is often very dense, lies at the crossroads of acoustic and electric sound, and is characterised by its dramaturgical and political roots. His work takes him to most of the venues dedicated to contemporary music, as well as parallel circuits: dance, theatre, visual arts and electronic music. He is founder and associate artistic director of the éOle studio in Toulouse and, since 2019, artistic director of the Musica Electronica Nova festival, produced by the National Forum of Music in Wroclaw, Poland. In 2021, he will be appointed associate composer on the IRCAM Composition Course.
