Kenyon Duncan is a Brooklyn-based musician originally from Northern California. He served as the 2024–25 composer-in-residence with the Brooklyn Youth Chorus, and has also held residencies at the Avaloch Farm Music Institute and the Gabriela Lena Frank Creative Academy of Music. Recent commissions include works for iSing Silicon Valley, Touch of Blue: New American Vocal Ensemble, the Princeton Playhouse Choir & Orchestra, and the Chamber Music Society of Central Virginia. His sound installation Music for Strangers (2019) was showcased at the Yale Center for Collaborative Arts and Media. A versatile collaborator, Kenyon’s work as a vocalist, pianist, and arranger can be heard on numerous studio recordings, and he is currently developing a solo recording project. As a conductor and ensemble leader, he has produced three award-winning albums and has led workshops around the world focused on vocal performance and ensemble techniques.
