Abigél Varga
Abigél Varga, born in 1996 in Hungary, studied composition at the Franz Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest and later at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater München under Moritz Eggert. Her notable work includes the oratorio "EMBRACE," based on Carl Jung's theories. She assisted Kurtág György in preparing and rehearsing his work "…sleep no more…". Varga has received residencies at the Cité Internationale des Arts Paris and BASIS Vinschgau Venosta, and was selected for the Lucerne Festival Composer's Seminar. Her compositions have been performed at festivals like Ars Sacra and Cafe Budapest. She also works as a concert organizer and event manager, contributing to events at FUGA, the Crescendo Summer Academy, and the aDevantgarde Festival.
