Jennyfer Desbiens began her career as a performer-creator with Omnibus, le corps du théâtre (Rêves, chimères et mascarade; Plywood). She now works in Chambre Noire productions (Lamelles, Le Vaisseau-Chœur, Intérieur, Les Employés and La Nef). A doctoral candidate in the Études et pratiques des arts program at UQÀM and recipient of the Joseph-Armand-Bombardier bursary, she is interested in adapting ancient sources for the contemporary stage.
