Julien Deguire
Julien holds a master's degree in performance from André Moisan (Université de Montréal) and Manuel Metzger (Paris). He has performed with several ensembles, including the Orchestre de la Montérégie, the Ensemble Obiora and the Ensemble TM+ (Paris). He has participated in numerous editions of the Classica festival and the OSM's Virée classique. An avant-garde musician, his collaborations with artists have led him to perform in Canada and France. In parallel to his career as an orchestral musician, chamber musician and soloist, Julien teaches clarinet in Montreal colleges. Since 2019, he also holds the position of music teacher at Collège St-Jean Vianney. Julien is also a recipient of the Faculty of Music Graduate Scholarship which recognizes academic excellence in his field.
