Charles Brecard is gaining recognition for the quality of his hybrid dance style influenced by urban, traditional and contemporary dances and by his profession as a sports massage therapist. His choreographies, imbued with great physicality, poetry and activism, has led him to perform locally and internationally. He recently won three prestigious awards at the Solo Tanz Theater Festival Stuttgart 2023: first prize in choreography, a DAF International Award Residency and the Dynamic Balance Award.
