Le Vivier s’implique à la biennale CINARS 2024
On November 12, a meeting dedicated to contemporary music will take place as part of the 21st edition of the CINARS biennial.
From November 11 to 16, the CINARS biennial is back for its 21st edition, with a host of international performing arts events.
On Tuesday, November 12 , Le Vivier co-organizes a professionnal meeting in collaboration with CINARS, the Centre Québécois de la Musique (CQM), the Orchestre Symphonique de Montréal (OSM), CIRMMT and the Canadian Music Centre (CMC). The event includes a tour of the Maison Symphonique de Montréal, followed by a visit to the MMR room at McGill University's Centre Interdisciplinaire de Recherche en Musique, Médias et Technologie (CIRMMT).
The event ends with an open discussion on the theme of "Contemporary musics : new trends and promising projects ”. A convivial exchange around the importance of the constantly evolving milieu, the directions it is taking and how its players (artists, institutions and audiences) are adapting to these changes. The guests are :

- Carissa Klopoushak, Artistic Director, Ottawa Chamberfest
- Rodrigo Sigal, Professor at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (Mexico City)
