Jules Bastin-Fontaine Commissioned by Taipei Chamber Singers

Le Vivier and Taipei Chamber Singers are thrilled to announce that Jules Bastin-Fontaine has been selected for a new commission by the Taipei Chamber Singers as part of our recent call for scores.
The ensemble was deeply impressed by the singularity and strength of his artistic voice, and we are excited to see this collaboration come to life. Jules will compose a new choral work to be premiered in July 2026 by the Taipei Chamber Singers, and will travel to Taipei to attend the premiere and work directly with the ensemble.
The selection was made by a jury composed of Apo Hsu, Tuan Hoe Koh, and Shiuan Chang from the Taipei Chamber Singers, alongside Jeffrey Stonehouse, Artistic Director of Le Vivier, in consultation with Danielle Palardy Roger and Charles-Eric Fontaine from Le Vivier’s Artistic Advisory Committee (COCART).
