Shards of Bengaluru Bill (2023)

Program notes

Shards of Bengaluru Bill begins as a portrait of a lost friend, reflected through corrupted prisms of space-time, stained by pseudo-memories. After an episode of woodwind “war cries,” our hero becomes belligerent and is suddenly disfigured by a mortal fall. All the while, blurry interjections of quiet sonic detritus whisper. Gradually, the music regains consciousness and lucidity, clarifying before the corrupted portal between me and my lost friend closes again.
