Musical works

Motivated by the idea of an organic fusion between acoustic and electronics sound worlds, literature and video, composer-videomaker Demian Rudel Rey composed “Nemorensis” for the saxophonist Marie-Bernadette Charrier. It explores different kind of extended techniques, hybridized the saxophone, in search of artistic materials which are part of the corporality requiring a total and virtuoso investment from the instrumentalist, building a bridge between visual language of its body, sounds and images. This work is inspired by the text "La nave" by Silvina Ocampo where the ideas of metamorphosis and identity, of delirium and magical realism, are always present.
