Musical works

Le Regard by Laura Kavanaugh is a graphic score composed of images taken from paintings by the artist on three large cotton paper panels. The vibrant colours and geometric shapes are part of a field of vibration in which the music is played. At each rehearsal and at the concert, the instrumentalists play a different image in order to create changes and surprises. Their approach evolves throughout the process and their own sensitivities become a living part of the score.
