Musical works

“Hélpide Dulce, Escampas”, a reference to Peruvian modernist poet César Vallejo, is a work for string quartet that proposes an intimate relationship with sound and instrumental technique through the superposition of physical parameters.  The piece is an exercise in finding a formal fluidity given by the synthesis between the intensity immanent in improvisational practice and the meticulous awareness found in the aprioristic practice of composition. The musical object sought thus provides a high level of timbral and affective dynamism.
