À grand fracas (2020)
Samuel Bobony has a hybrid practice as a drummer and electroacoustic composer. He is interested in the different levels of reality caused by the creation of real-time samplings and the manipulation of their temporality. This makes it possible to freeze out of time the interactive musical gestures between the percussionists of the Sixtrum ensemble and their sound manipulations. Using underwater recordings using hydrophones, the unusual sound loops are then modulated by effects chains designed especially for this work.
