Megumi Masaki's HEARING ICE project seeks to mobilize positive social and environmental change through the sharing of personal stories, scientific facts, gestures, and interactive artistic works.

The artist aims to raise awareness about climate change affecting ice and to amplify the voices of impacted communities through research, development, and the creation of new substantial narrative works for piano and multimedia. Each work brings together different artists, scientists, and communities to explore distinct perspectives on the climate crisis; the dynamic interactions within the project center a common environment where all voices have equal weight.
