Eloain Lovis Hübner: T 5.48 for cello / E 56.9 for saxophone
Berlin-based composer Eloain Lovis Hübner develops an artistic practice rooted in experimental sound research, exploring the potential of analog media through spatial, transdisciplinary, and collaborative formats, in dialogue with social, natural, technological, and media environments.
Marking the conclusion of her residency in Montreal, as part of the Goethe-Institut’s contemporary music residency program in collaboration with Le Vivier, she presents the North American premiere of two solo works composed in 2025 for the award-winning Polish ensemble Spółdzielnia Muzyczna.
With T 5.48 for cello and E 56.9 for saxophone, Eloain Lovis Hübner continues her long-term exploration of unconventional sound production techniques for classical instruments, developed here through processes of experimentation and improvisation.
A discussion with the composer will follow the performance.
