Architek Percussion takes audiences on a full sensory journey with Sabrina Schroeder’s Stircrazer I .

The concert promises to take the public on a musical ride. He feels the percussion reverberate throughout your body while he becomes mesmerized by a mix of delicate sounds and contrasting rhythms. It will be an immersive performance that not only centers on sound, but also on the body-feel that emanates from the instruments.

Also on the program, a Nicole Lizée’s piece, Folk Noir / Canadiana. It’s a five-movement work that revolves around the themes of folklore, culture/pop culture, identity, and Lizee’s interpretation of them through music and video.

La Semaine du Neuf is presented in collaboration with the Montreal cluster of cultural institutes from the member countries of the European Union (EUNIC), and with the support of the Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec, Conseil des arts de Montréal, Canada Council for the Arts, and the City of Montreal.

The Montreal cluster of EUNIC (European National Institutes for Culture) is led by the Goethe-Institut, Consulate General of France in Quebec in Montreal, Consulate General of Switzerland in Montreal, Pro Helvetia Foundation, Istituto Italiano di Cultura Montreal, Wallonie Bruxelles International and the Austrian Cultural Forum in Ottawa.
