Quatuor Mémoire
Quatuor à cordes
Quatuor Mémoire is a contemporary-music string quartet based in Montréal, founded by Bailey Wantuch, Meggie Lacombe, Audréanne Filion, et Marilou Lepage. Although only recently formed, the quartet has already appeared in several productions, notably the eighth annual Vivier InterUniversitaire concert and a concert produced by Collectif Radiance featuring music by Montréal composers Florence Tremblay, Louis-Michel Tougas and Olivier St-Pierre. This fall, Mémoire recorded St-Pierre’s quartet. The quartet also recently recorded new compositions for Projet «4:4» and will present these works live as part of the 2025 Montréal Nouvelles Musiques festival. In 2026, Mémoire will explore the genre of string quartet and electronics, a project sponsored and supported by Le Vivier’s Pôle Relève.
Quatuor Mémoire’s members are graduates of Le Conservatoire de musique à Montréal and McGill University. Mémoire’s members have also performed individually with new music groups in Montréal such as Collectif Radiance, Ensemble Éclat, Ensemble Tesse, Paramirabo, and No Hay Banda.
