
Thomas Cardoso-Grant was born in New Brunswick and has lived in Montreal since 2017. Thomas pursued post-secondary studies in piano performance at Mount Allison University and in composition at McGill University, under the supervision of Jean Lesage and Sean Ferguson. He is the recipient of a SOCAN Young Composers Award (2019) and the Eric Prize for Excellence in Electroacoustic Music at McGill University. His piece artifact ii was performed at the 21st Century Guitar Conference, based in Lisbon, Portugal. After graduation, Thomas was hired as Music Rental and Sales Manager at the Canadian Music Centre in Quebec, where he worked until September 2022. Thomas now works as a concert producer in major cities across Canada, including Montreal, Quebec City, Ottawa and Winnipeg, in addition to his role on the board of Ensemble Éclat.
