Matthew Roome is a saxophonist hailing from St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador. He holds a BMus in saxophone performance from Memorial University of Newfoundland and is in his second year of his MMus at McGill, studying under Marie-Chantal Leclair. His musical focuses are primarily in contemporary, jazz, and improvised music.
