Marie Pierre Normand was born in Montreal in 1971. In the 90's, she studied scenography and visual arts and since then, she has been involved in everything: painting, sets, collages, installations, live performances, drawing and illustration. Among other things, she designed all the album covers for Jérôme Minière's albums for the Tribu. She has also published a children's book entitled Promenade (2004-Les éditions de la Pastèque). Mother of two children, she draws her inspiration from daily life to build her particular universe. When she was a child, she was often in the moonlight and, still today, she lets her wandering spirit wander between the spontaneous lines of her drawings.
