Marie Goudot
Trained at Maurice Béjart’s Rudra workshop school, Marie Goudot began her career as a performer in 1998. After several years working with various companies, she co-founded the collective Loge 22 in 2005 with Julien Monty and Michaël Pomero—an interdisciplinary choreographic research space that initiated around a dozen creations, including Rubaïs, Compresse et Réduction, Angle Mort, Unisson, SurFace, Konkreiheit, and Rumeurs. Together, they also co-founded the platform and traveling festival SPIDER and SPIDER EXPAND with European artists.
Marie Goudot has collaborated with artists such as Russell Maliphant, Pierre Droulers, Saša Božić, Chrysa Parkinson, François Laroche-Valière, Mark Lorimer, Ula Sickle, and the Ictus Ensemble.
Since 2010, she has worked with the Rosas company and has taken part in the creations Cesena (2011), Vortex Temporum (2013), Work/Travail/Arbeid (2015), Così fan tutte (2017), Mitten wir im Leben sind / Bach 6 Cellosuiten (2017), The Six Brandenburg Concertos (2018), the revival of En Atendant (2022), the series Dark Red, and 5Agon (2023).
Marie Goudot has been a faculty member at P.A.R.T.S. since 2016. She teaches and leads workshops at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris, at Summerschool, and at Impulstanz.
In 2022, she co-founded YOUNGSTERS, a platform bringing together international artists based in Brussels and committed to making the arts accessible to young people in Brussels. She is currently preparing the creations Partager le Vide, After Hannibal, and Gasherbrum.
