
Jeanne-Sophie graduated from McGill University's Schulich School of Music in 2022 with a Graduate Performance Diploma in Andrew Wan's class. Previously, she obtained a Master's degree and a Bachelor's degree in performance from the same institution with Violaine Melançon and Felicia Moye. Before moving to Montreal, she studied at the Conservatoire de musique de Saguenay with Guylaine Grégoire and Nathalie Camus.
An active orchestral musician, she currently plays first violin with the Ottawa Symphony Orchestra and second violin with the Orchestre Symphonique du Saguenay-Lac-St-Jean. She also frequently freelances with various orchestras in Quebec. During her studies, she took part in a number of festivals, including the mentoring programme of the National Arts Centre Orchestra in Ottawa, the National Youth Orchestra of Canada, the National Academy Orchestra and the orchestra of the Collegium Musicum Schloss Pommersfelden. Jeanne-Sophie also had the opportunity to study with renowned violinists such as Cho Liang-Lin, Kevin Lawrence, Alexandre Da Costa and Frederic Bednarz.
