Contrechamps
Contrechamps is an ensemble of soloists specializing in the creation, development, and dissemination of instrumental music from the 20th and 21st centuries. The Ensemble is committed to breaking down barriers and highlighting the diversity of aesthetics and performers on the contemporary and experimental scene. For more than forty years, it has collaborated closely with a large number of composers, conductors, and artists. The ensemble also showcases its principal musicians and their specific and varied talents. It develops new presentation formats, including installation and radio concerts, research laboratories, and virtual tours. It offers a hybrid identity between orchestra and company, adapting its operations to artistic requirements and the proposals of creators. Recognized for its work and invited to perform on international stages, Contrechamps collaborates with festivals, institutions, and partners in Switzerland and abroad.
