Camille Paré-Poirier is an author and actress. She develops her writing through autofiction, documentary approaches, and poetry. In 2021, she published Dis merci, a collection of narrative poetry that explores illness and the medical world through the eyes of a teenager. She wrote, directed, and performed the podcast Quelqu'une d'immortelle (Someone Immortal), which deals with dementia and grief through recorded conversations with her grandmother. In 2023, she adapted her podcast into a solo show (Je viendrai moins souvent - I Will Come Less Often) presented on stage at the Centre du Théâtre d'Aujourd'hui. Rooted in a transdisciplinary approach, her various projects lead her to address the concepts of "care" and female transmission.
