Antonin started out as a drummer with Epitaphe, a band that blended harsh-sounding extreme metal with progressive structures. First in Grenoble, then in London, he developed a taste for contemporary percussion, musical theater and plural, collective works. He regularly collaborates with composers, choreographers and stage directors, bringing his art of percussion to other performing arts. He is a member of Eptagon, a Grenoble-based collective focusing on noise, metal, electronic and semi-improvised music, visual arts and video. He continues to write metal and play drums for Epitaphe's third album (produced by Aesthetic Death), and makes strange noises with his machines at Eventide. Interested in all aesthetics, and committed to the accessibility of all music for all audiences, he champions classical works transcribed for marimba as well as contemporary pieces from Grenoble squats to New Delhi pubs and London art galleries. After several years teaching percussion at the Conservatoire d'Eybens, in January 2023, a master's degree at McGill University in Montreal to delve even deeper into contemporary percussion.
