Upheaval for culture
Following Premier Legault's directives of September 28, 2020, Montreal being in the red zone, we have to postpone the concerts of October 1st and October 4th.
IN THE RED ZONE: STAY ALERT and TAKE ACTION!
SOLIDARITY IN THE ARTS COMMUNITY
Artists, cultural workers, spectators and venues have collaborated to set up hyper-secure protocols to maintain an activity recognized as an essential asset; the result is convincing. And yet.
Yesterday, it was decreed the end of all cultural life in the presence of the public. How can we cope with this new demand? To make sacrifices to break the wave, certainly... But also, to support those in our living arts community who are slowly dying.
This is why Le Vivier, in solidarity, will continue to take every possible action to provide creators and their collaborators with support to maintain their activities; we will multiply our efforts to weave this so fragile link with our audiences and give everyone the opportunity to vibrate again.
Thank you to the artists, and to all those who accompany them, for fighting and persevering.
Thank you to the public for remaining faithful to us.
We will be there!
