Raphaël has been evolving as an artistic director, percussionist and composer mainly on the Quebec music scene. In 2012, he founded Ep4 percussion, an ensemble whose mission is to promote new music for percussion. He writes several works and arrangements for this ensemble in addition to working in collaboration with many composers. At the same time, he plays with several ensembles including the Orchestre symphonique de Québec, Ensemble Lunatik, Atopos, L'Ensemble de musique improvisée de Québec and E27 musiques nouvelles. Involved with the Société des arts percussifs, Raphaël is also the general and artistic director of E27 musiques nouvelles since May 2020.
