Espaces sonores illimités (ESI)

Formed in 1992 and consisting of Alain Dauphinais, André Hamel and Alain Lalonde, Espaces sonores illimités is a collective with a mission to create or participate to music events focusing on sound spatialization.

Performances: Musiques en espace sacré, FIMAV, 1994; Cadavre presqu’exquis, ECM, 1996 (revived in 2007); Air libre presented as part of Symphonies portuaires de Pointe-à-Callière, 1998; Participation to Symphonie du Millénaire, SMCQ, 2000; Symphonie des éléments, MNM, 2005 (on an invitation from Michel Gonneville); Fanfares, FIMAV, 2005; Musiques au fil de l’eau, event: Le Voyage - Fondation Derouin, 2006, Rivière du Nord; Spatio lumino, MNM, 2007.
