The concert society Réseaux des arts médiatiques / Akousma is one of a kind, not only in Québec, but in Canada as well. It is the only one that presents exclusively concert electroacoustic musics made by our own composers and by composers from all around. It cannot be compared to any other concert society devoted to new musics. Since 1991, Réseaux has been the mirror of the creativity at work in adventurous sonic territories. More than 300 artists from all over the world were prensented in its concerts. Louis Dufort received the Opus Prize “Artistic Director of the Year” from the Conseil Québécois de la Musique for the 2016-17 season.
