Instrumentalist Fanny Vicens has created a recital of pieces for accordion, XAMP microtonal accordion and electronics.

For the launch of her album Turn On, Tune In, Drop Out on the Studio éOle label, instrumentalist Fanny Vicens, member of Ensemble Flashback, has proposed a recital in 2022 with a programme of pieces for accordion, XAMP microtonal accordion and electronics. These mixed pieces are created by the performer in close collaboration with the composers with whom she works to develop the accordion's sound identity and expand the repertoire. The recital includes works by Nuria Giménez Comas, Alexander Vert, Pierre Jodlowski and Aurelio Edler - Copes.

Swiss video artist Thomas Köppel is creating the illuminated set design for this immersive show, a veritable sensorial setting that brings together the physicality of the musical works, the spatialisation of sound and the visual imagination with the body-to-body experience of the solist and her instrument.

By partnering Fanny Vicens once again for the production of Turn On, Tune In, Drop Out, Flashback is renewing its support for an artist with a strong approach who is deeply involved in contemporary creation and research on her instrument.
