Two concert events for the launch of Tim Brady's new 3 CD collection Actions Speak Louder - on Redshift Records.

This concert proposes to meet Tim Brady's music, through guitar solos, then a capella voices, in dialogue with the dance universe. First, Simple Loops and Sergio's Request are performed on guitar by Brady, in duet with the young dancer and choreographer Charles Brécard. Then, the dancer mixes his dance with the voices of Marie-Annick Béliveau, Sarah Albu, Charlotte Corwin and Bronwyn Thies-Thompson who sing in turn the four short pieces Walker Songs for solo voice. Finally, Tim Brady's musical universe unfolds through the creation: For Masked Singers, Four Guitars (2021), a work conceived in relation to the pandemic, the masked musicians having rehearsed only via the virtual conference platform Zoom.  The four singers are joined by the four guitars of Instruments of Happiness to create a richly colorful and dramatic soundtrack, with text by Sara Beth Goncarova. Written before the global health situation, it evokes the sounds of the city of Montreal and the vagaries of life.
