A native of Sherbrooke, violinist Jeanne Côté obtained her master's degree from McGill University and holds a bachelor's degree from the Conservatoire de musique de Montréal. Jeanne is a founding member of the Andara String Quartet, the ensemble in residence at the Université de Montréal. She has a keen interest in new music and collaborating with composers. As a member of the ACTOR Project, she has participated in several research projects on aural perception and the musician's sound space. Jeanne currently teaches violin and improvisation in Montreal.
